Diopside is a very creative stone which brings creativity to those who hold it. It also stimulates the intellect and assists with mathematics, analysis and logic. This gem can help you remain detached and objective. It is related to love and commitment and will allow you to understand the duality of self and get in touch with your feminine side, thus helping heal aggression and stubbornness. As it can clear blocked emotions, this is an excellent stone for anyone who will not let themselves cry. It will help heal trauma and bring cleansing tears.
Diopside is very useful for calming pets. It may be beneficial for the heart, lungs, circulation, weakness, kidneys, muscular aches and spasms and psychological disorders.
Chrome Diopside (green) is excellent to use in partnership with the Black Star Diopside. While the Black Star relates to the Root chakra and is grounding, Chrome Diopside heals the heart. Use it to heal childhood traumas, Green Diopside will convey a soothing green ray which will heal the emotions that are brought to the surface when uncovered by Black Star. In past life working, if you have been the victim, Chrome Diopside will heal the wounds of violent and abusive relationships and will help you forgive those who harmed you in the past, either in this current incarnation or in past lives. Green Diopside works mainly on the emotional level without the astral and interplanetary properties of Black Star and only a very small stone is needed.
DIOPSIDE (Black Star)
Black Diopside, when polished, shows a cat’s eye or star and is referred to as Black Star Diopside. Black Star is reputed to have been used during the times of Atlantis and Lemuria as a scrying stone. It will take you into the depths, provide protection and will keep you connected to the earth while travelling the universe. This stone provides a direct link to otherworld entities. It is excellent for exploring past lives as it will take you back slowly and carefully. A time link to the past in this current life as well, it will help anyone wishing to resolve childhood trauma and is beneficial for those recovering from incest and abuse memories. The stone will help you uncover early blocks that make you forget. It is also grounding during astral travel. Black Star can absorb excess energies which confuse the mind.

The Black Star Diopside I have is just like the one above and I love it. Unfortunately it is small and I am afraid of losing it, unless I can get it set into a ring or such.
