First of all I want to wish everyone a happy Mabon or Ostara depending on where you all are in the world.
The equinoxes are an even more forerunner to the changes in temperature and weather, more so than the Solstices, I believe. They forecast the soon to come Winter or Summer and warn us to be ready for the extremes in weather, easing us into them.
Mabon, for us in the southern hemisphere, is the Autumn Equinox and the beginning of the beautiful Autumn colours, the cooler days and the inevitable approach of Winter – cold, wet and time for heaters and fires. These two seasons would have to be my favourites.
Ostara, for us, is the Spring Equinox and the awakening of the earth, the springing to life of nature and her living creatures. Everything begins to bloom and there is a joy of renewal in the air.
To finish, I want to add that I have been getting very confused between my crystal blogs for the Pagan Blog Project and the crystal course I am teaching. I forget which crystals I have discussed with each.
