Today I wish to discuss my cat, Little Bit!

When she was younger (she is now 15 yrs 7 months) if you dropped any food on the floor look out! She always hangs around when I am preparing my lunch – in fact she will remind me it is lunchtime lol. Soooooooooooo……. I bought her a teeny treat dish!

She has to have (demands) a little of whatever cold meat, cheese, tuna spread etc, in her dish.

I was packing cold meats to put into the freezer when I inadvertently dropped some shredded pork on the floor. She sniffed it and rejected it! SHE knew that I also had some shredded turkey to pack and that was her favourite. I put a little pork in her dish for her but she didn’t want it, so I put in a little turkey which she scoffed very quickly, leaving the pork. Later in the day I noticed she had been back and eaten the pork lol.

I now find that every time she walks into the kitchen she checks the area where I put her treat dish first. She only gets the tiniest pieces of my food. She gets fed her own food twice a day.

Her treat dish is about 3 inches x 2 inches and the treat is about the size of a thumbnail. Go figure! SHE’S A CAT!
